We were honored to have the Romanian Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization Sebastian I. Burduja provide our conference’s featured keynote address this year. As a former member of our Washington, DC Romanian American diaspora community he is a former diaspora leader, he founded and led the League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS) and later the CAESAR Foundation – the Center for Access to the Expertise of Romanian Students and Graduates. Having returned and settled with his family in Romania he is now continuing the vision of that strong relationship with the scientific diaspora from within the Romanian government.
