Marie-Louise Paulesc, PhD the Director of Strategic Planning, American Romanian Cultural Society and Founder & Board-chair of ARCS Arizona is an Associate Teaching Professor of Communication, Arizona State University. Her presentation offered an overview of ARCS National Romanian American Heritage Award, the organization’s various education programs, some of which had been featured in previous years, and most importantly the evolution of the film festival ARCS has been successfully implementing as both an in person and virtual festival. The Seattle-based organization has established chapters in Arizona and Detroit and the presentation touches on all these aspects serving multiple diaspora hubs and sharing of both expertise and human resources.
