Featured Speaker Opening Plenary Session, Dec. 2nd 2022


The last featured speaker during the first day of the conference was Roxana Cazan, PhD. Senior Lecturer, University of Oklahoma. She is the Executive Director of the American Romanian Coalition for Human and Equal Rights - ARCHER an entity established together with president Mihaela Campion a Chicago-based MA, LCPC, CCDVC, Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. The platform is encouraging oral history personal story telling initiatives very much akin to the kind of diaspora public profiles implemented by the Immigration Research Forum. The partner institution is now promoting an online contest titled: Telling our Immigrant Stories: Contest & Symposium of Literature and Art.
